On the Campaign Trail — Listening, Learning & Leading

On October 19, 2026, I attended the Auburn Hills City Council meeting as part of my community engagement efforts while running for the Pontiac School District Board of Education.

During my remarks, I discussed three important subjects:

1. My School Board Candidacy I introduced my candidacy for the six-year term on the Pontiac School District Board of Education and my commitment to students, families, and accountable school governance.

2. My Personal IEP Experience and Special Education Advocacy I shared my personal experience having an Individualized Education Program (IEP) throughout my education. That experience continues to shape my commitment to students with disabilities, meaningful family participation, and ensuring every learner receives the support they need.

3. Backpacks & Boos Community Event I discussed our upcoming Backpacks & Boos community event on October 31, 2026, which brings families together through a community celebration, backpack and school supply giveaways, and local support.

I attended a Sylvan Lake public meeting as part of my outreach across communities connected to the Pontiac School District.

This visit reflects my interest in listening to residents, understanding community concerns, and building relationships across school district boundaries.
